Bear & Moo is a Hamilton based company selling reusable cloth nappies, wet bags and associated baby products, primarily via e-commerce and through retailers in New Zealand. As we edge closer to being two years old, we have been experiencing massive growth and it’s time to add someone to the team in a part-time capacity with a view to grow the role as we grow.
This position will be based out of our warehouse in Frankton. Flexibilty with the hours would be an advantage, however availability on a Monday and/or Thursday between 9am and 3pm would be ideal.
The primary focus of the role is around customer service. Day to day you will be packing customer orders, answer emails and dealing with enquiries, unpacking stock, running regular stocktakes and updating our Shopify website with inventory.
As competency grows, we envision you will also take on further website management including uploading blogs to our website; email marketing campaigns, sales at local events and basic accounts (bank reconciliations and some invoicing as required).
The right person will have at least 2 years’ work experience, in a customer service role. Having the right attitude is a must. Someone who shows initiative and common sense, who is willing to get in and get things done. A high level of numeracy and literacy is imperative to the role, along with the ability to be self-motivated, highly organised and systems focused.
You will be able to learn quickly and pick up new software and skills. Experience using Shopify and/or Klaviyo would be a bonus. We’re looking for a people person, someone who can have a laugh, get along with customers, and takes pride in doing a good job. Someone with a sales, marketing or business mindset will do well in this job.
