We’re answering your most frequently asked questions.  Check out the video below or scroll down to read a summary if you prefer.

How many nappies do I need?

The sky is the limit.  No seriously, it is.  But in saying that, as a general guide if you’re aiming to do full time, you’ll want enough to do 3 to 4 days to allow for washing and drying in between.  And that depends on how often you’re changing bub.  Part timers usually have around 15 nappies, and full timers maybe 25, but you can always start with 1 or 2 and go from there.

Do I have to do full time?

Absolutely not.  Cloth nappies are not an all or nothing thing.  We still use disposables overnight.  So don’t feel you have to commit to everything straight away. As I said, start with 1 or 2 and work your way up.

Will I save money?

Yes.  Absolutely. We have a blog on our website to give you an idea of how much you can save based on bubs age.  Disposables from newborn to toilet training can cost you in the vicinity of $3000 - $4000.  A full time cloth nappy stash can be less than $500.  Plus you can use cloth nappies on more than one child, or sell them when you’re done with them.
