This year I've been putting myself out there more for awards, and I'm so incredibly excited and humbled to be a finalist for the 2023 EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards. I am in some amazing company and am so proud of have gotten this far.
This award is about my vision for the business, and the growth we have achieved. When I first started Bear & Moo, the goal was to help more families use cloth nappies. When I had Regan 8 years ago, I had found the information online incredibly overwhelming and the nappies available either super expensive, or just not that cute! The more we used cloth nappies, the easier I realised it was, and that the issue was about the overwhelm.
Bear & Moo was born to help you give it a go. To try one or two and then realise it's not that hard. To have a place to come and ask questions and know that there's no judgement. To know that you don't have to be perfect and we don't care if you use disposables too! Parenting is a juggle, we want to support you, not add to your plate.
So here we are 5 years later, helping thousands of families across the country and continuing to grow. We have a focus on sustainability, and on relatability - I want you to know that I'm in the parenting trenches with you! You're not alone, and together we've got this.

First round of judging is in September so I'll be sure to update you all on stories as to how that goes. Whether I move forward or not, I'm so grateful for the experience, and proud of all we have achieved!
